Nicole is experienced in makeup and hairstyling across a variety of styles such as glamour, creative, bridal and illusion. She is also skilled in lip art, a growing social media trend. Her past clients include Circles Life, Samsung, Zalora, and Blackberry. Nicole’s makeup art has been displayed at the National Museum Of Singapore and at the Showroom République Valmy in Paris, as she was an integral member of the makeup team for Face of The Day SG. This collaborative project was turned into an interactive exhibition with augmented reality features, that ran from 18 Jan 2019 to 17 Feb 2019 at the National Museum Of Singapore as part of DigiMuse Presents at Singapore Art Week 2019, and at the Showroom République Valmy in Paris, as part of Urban Art Singapore’s C(HOPE) show that ran from 1 Feb 2019 to 17 Feb 2019.

She has conducted makeup training sessions for retail staff of renowned international luxury and lifestyle brands under the F J Benjamin Group such as Guess, Banana Republic, Raoul, Gap and LaSenza, spending 1.5 years as F J Benjamin’s regular makeup trainer, as part of their in-house service training for retail staff. Nicole also conducts personal makeup classes for both individuals and groups.

In 2017 and 2018, Nicole entered Face Awards Singapore, an inaugural creative makeup competition organized by NYX Professional Makeup Singapore. She made it to the final round and placed amongst the Top 6 of the competition, for both years.

Nicole sees makeup as a form of art, that enhances what already exists. She loves that makeup allows anyone to wear their favourite colours, moods and characters, right on their faces.

Nicole’s favourite colour is purple and she is known on her social media channels as @electric.eggplant (a shade of purple).
